A little help. More time to play.
Rules for Daily word, Word climb, friend matches and learning games. Answers about dictionaries, keyboards, statistics and sharing.
Where should I start?
Choose a game and start — no account needed. Daily word and Word climb offer a short daily challenge. Play Tic-tac-toe and Connect four against the computer or a friend, Hangman on your own or with a friend, and Sudoku at your own pace.
Learn & play brings together flags, Lithuanian city coats of arms, and U.S. states and capitals. Explore the cards first, then try a memory game or a quiz.
How does Daily word work? When is the next one?
Guess a five-letter word in six attempts. A new morning challenge starts at 07:00 and an evening challenge at 18:00 in the Europe/Vilnius time zone. Before 07:00, the previous evening's word remains available. Vilnius is UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer. The server sets the schedule, including daylight saving changes; you do not need to adjust your device clock.
A green tile with ✓ means the right letter in the right place. A yellow tile with ↔ means the letter belongs elsewhere. A red tile with × means the letter is absent, or its occurrences have already been accounted for by other marked tiles. One letter in the answer cannot confirm two copies in your guess.
Players using the same word language get the same answer for the same period. English and Lithuanian have separate dictionaries and answers.
What is different about Word climb?
Start with a four-letter word. Solve it to unlock five letters, then six, seven and eight. You get six attempts per stage, with the same tile meanings as Daily word.
If you run out of attempts on a stage, that period's climb ends. A new climb starts at 07:00 or 18:00 Vilnius time — you do not always have to wait until the next day. Climb results are separate from Daily word.
Which words count? Can I suggest a missing one?
Answer words are curated separately from the broader list of accepted guesses. English Daily word answers can include different parts of speech, while English Word climb answers are selected nouns. Lithuanian Daily word and Word climb answers are nominative nouns, singular or plural; Lithuanian guesses may include other parts of speech and grammatical cases. An accepted guess is not necessarily a possible answer.
If a real word is rejected and a Suggest word button appears, you can submit it for review. It is sent only when you choose to submit and does not use an attempt. The owner reviews words individually. Approval expands accepted guesses; it does not automatically add a daily answer. There is no automatic or guaranteed approval.
Accents matter in Lithuanian games: A and Ą, E and Ė, and U and Ū are different letters. Enter the word with its correct spelling.
Can I use my own keyboard?
Yes. Select Type with your keyboard and use your phone or computer keyboard. You can also use the on-screen letter buttons. Enter submits a complete guess and Backspace removes the last letter.
The input accepts only letters from the game's word language, up to the required word length. Numbers, spaces and punctuation are filtered out. Lithuanian letters can be entered with a Lithuanian keyboard or selected on screen.
How do I invite a friend?
Choose the friend mode, create a room, and copy or share its invitation link. Your friend opens it in their browser. No account is required, and a room has at most two players. Friend matches are available for the separate word duel, Tic-tac-toe, Hangman and Connect four.
Send the invitation only to the person you want to play with: anyone who receives it can take an available seat. A room lasts up to two hours from creation. A disconnected player can return within ten minutes using the same browser; clearing its data can make recovering the seat impossible. Create a new room when the old one expires.
After a game, both players can accept a rematch. Tic-tac-toe and Connect four alternate the starting player; Hangman swaps roles. Memory games and learning quizzes are currently single-player.
How exactly does the word duel work?
Both players receive the same secret five-letter word and guess on separate boards. Your friend sees your attempt count, not your guessed words or letters. Each player has six attempts and can guess without waiting for the other player's turn.
The first correct guess accepted by the server wins. If both players run out of attempts without solving it, the game is a draw. This is a separate duel and does not change your official Daily word result or streak.
How do memory games and quizzes help me learn?
Find two identical cards in Flag memory and City arms memory. Revealed cards show both the picture and its name. In States & capitals memory, both matching cards show the state and its capital together — you are not asked to match a state to an unfamiliar capital on a separate card.
Start with a small board and one region. Once the names feel familiar, try a larger board or a quiz. Quizzes let you choose the question direction and show the correct pair after an answer. Mistake practice helps you learn without recording another regular quiz result.
Flag collections can be filtered by continent, region or the listed organisations. Membership lists and stories are educational material with sources; not every world entry has a detailed story yet.
Where are my results saved? Can I use another phone?
Personal statistics, language, theme and saved game progress are stored locally in this browser. There is no account or automatic transfer between devices. Another browser, a private window or cleared site data may show fresh statistics.
You can review each game in the statistics panel and reset statistics after confirming. This does not delete all site data. To remove all local data for this site, use your browser's site-data settings; that also removes saved progress and room credentials.
Moving to bearnap.com does not automatically move browser data. Open the previous Fast Games Club address on the same device and browser, then choose “Move to BearNap”. Review and confirm in the new window. Settings also lets you save and restore a backup file. Existing progress is replaced only after confirmation, and a local backup is kept before replacement.
Language, sound and connection problems
Change the theme and sound in settings. Sound starts off. The interface respects your device's reduced-motion setting, and word tiles also use symbols. You can change the interface language in the header; an ongoing word game keeps its original dictionary language.
If a friend match loses its connection, allow it to reconnect and check your internet access. Refreshing in the same browser can restore a seat in an unexpired room. Avoid clearing site data while you want to keep your seat or saved progress.
