A small break with a little more inside.
BearNap combines quick games, real friend matches and learning with flags, city coats of arms, and U.S. states. No registration or ads.
A few minutes for yourself
BearNap is being built for enjoyable short breaks: discover a word, think through a move, invite a friend or learn something new. Open your browser and play, without installing an app or creating an account.
The portal is still growing. Its name is a working name, while its direction is clear: comfortable games on phones and computers, straightforward rules, and content in both English and Lithuanian.
Your own pace, or a friendly challenge
Daily word challenges change in the morning and evening. Classic board games let you compete with a local computer algorithm or a real friend through a shared link. Sudoku and memory games offer time to concentrate on your own.
Computer opponents use game algorithms. There are currently no paid AI services, advertisements or paid game features.
Explore first, test yourself later
In the learning area, pictures and names stay together. Flag and city-arm pairs exercise memory, while U.S. state cards also show the capital. When you feel ready, quizzes check your knowledge in either question direction.
Short stories introduce the meaning and history behind symbols. They are an introduction, not a complete history textbook. Geographic and organisation collections make a topic easier to explore. Membership can change, so source-check dates matter.
Content with sources
Flag and city-arm story panels include source links. Image origins, licences and review information are listed in each collection's source section. The U.S. states and capitals library also lists its data sources.
Accepted guesses and answer words are maintained separately. If a game rejects a real word, you can suggest that word using the button beside the rejected guess. Suggestions are reviewed before they expand accepted guesses.
Less friction, more clarity
Choose a dark or light theme, control sound and use your own keyboard. We aim to explain states through words and symbols, not colour alone. Personal results are saved in your browser, and friend rooms are temporary.
The help page explains game rules and common questions. The privacy page explains what stays on your device and what is sent to the server.
